​The WCCA Concert Season
Our 2024-2025 season again consists of 6-Concerts. Please consider our Season subscription which is still only $75! The first season concert happened on Sept. 28th. BUT, with another five concerts to go it works out to only $15 per concert a 50% savings over the individual ticket price of $30! We offer student pricing and kids ages 12 and under are free when accompanied by a paying adult.
Individual concert tickets for regular season concert are available for $30.

FREE STORYTELLING OUTREACH PROGRAMS
The Wellsboro Community Concert Association will be presenting two FREE performances by Adam Booth, award winning storyteller, educator, and musician. On Friday evening December 13th he'll present The Heron’s Journey, a multidisciplinary program that has been selected for the 2024-25 Mid-Atlantic Arts Touring Roster. On Saturday, December 14th he will tell stories especially appropriate for children at a matinee performance.

This seven-member, top rated band, is known for giving high energy performances with a genre crossing repertoire that spans the decades. Come time-travel back to the days of Motown, Soul, Funk and Golden Oldies. BTG features, along with a full band, two lead vocalists and a sax player. It's sure to be a blast from the past that you'll likely find your feet tapping and yourself singing along to! This is the second concert of the WCCA 6-Concert Season.

Kitchen Dwellers are an additional concert and not part of the regular WCCA Concert Subscription All seats are $39.
The Montana-based Quartet, Shawn Swain (Mandolin), Torrin Daniels (Banjo), Joe Funk (Upright Bass), and Max Davies (Acoustic Guitar) began as college friends jamming in a kitchen, hence their name. They’ve thrilled audiences at sold out shows across the U.S. with their unique twist on folk inspired bluegrass spiked with phantasmic vision and rock energy. They’ve performed at various festivals and at such prestigious venues as Red Rocks Amphitheater, Capitol Theater, and the Troubadour. With 44K plus followers on FB and nearly 40K on Instagram they have garnered over 5 million streams and received widespread praise from the likes of American Songwriter, Relix, and Huffington Post. They’ve released several albums including the critically acclaimed Ghost in the Bottle (2017), and Muir Maid (2019). Live from the Wilma was released in 2021. In 2020 they recorded an EP titled Reheated of Pink Floyd Covers. Their fourth highly awaited studio album, Seven Devils was released this year. and takes inspiration from Dante’s Inferno. The album guides listeners on a musical journey of self, akin to that of Dante while the band continues to redefine musical boundaries.
The Gibson Brothers

Award-winning brothers Eric and Leigh Gibson, known for their harmonies and songwriting, are the real deal. Growing up on a dairy farm in northern New York and then traveling around the world in a bluegrass band has given them a unique vantage point on life. They can pick. They can write a dang good country song. They’ve won about every bluegrass award you can name and released many albums on almost every premier Americana label including Sugar Hill and Rounder. And as if that’s not enough, their songs have been recorded by bluegrass legends like Del McCoury. Their talent level is well established, the only producers they have ever worked with are Ricky Skaggs, Dan Auerbach, David Ferguson and Jerry Douglas. It’s a resume almost anybody in country music would be proud to have. Come and enjoy some mighty fine Bluegrass! The brothers will be accompanied by their band. This is the third concert of the WCCA 6-Concert Season.

This Pennsylvania-based Trio is a festival fixture who captivate audiences across the US with their music and amusing stories from the road. They bring together upcycled Celtic Folk and Vintage Vibes with a Modern message. Rose Baldino and Brian Buchanan are both great fiddle players, classical violinists, songwriters and vocalists who blend their voices in mesmerizing harmony. Caroline Browning, an accomplished bassist, completes the trio. Their version of “Pound a Week Rise” rose to #1 on the US Folk DJ charts and their all-violin video cover of “Sweet Child O’ Mine” has more than 16 million views on Facebook where it was shared over 400,000 times. This show is guaranteed to leave the audience wanting more! This is the fourth concert of the WCCA 6-Concert Season.
Dàimh

Taking their name from the Scottish Gaelic word for kinship, award-winning ‘Gaelic Supergroup’ Dàimh (pronounced dive) is based in Lochaber in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, an area renowned for musical and cultural heritage. The group features Angus Mackenzie (Highland Pipes/Border Pipes/Whistles), Gabe McVarish (Fiddle), Ellen MacDonald (Gaelic Songs), Murdo Cameron (Mandola/Mandolin), and Rose Martin (Guitar). They are festival favorites in Scotland, Ireland and Europe and are famed for their thrilling live shows with pyrotechnical jigs and reels and poignant ballads. It’ll surely be a show not to miss. This is the fifth concert in the WCCA 6-Concert Season.
EG Kight Trio

When EG Kight talks, her endearing southern drawl attracts people like a magnet. And when she sings and plays that guitar, there’s no doubt that EG Kight means business. With rich vocals, a captivating guitar style, and a hefty catalog of well-crafted original songs, she has entertained audiences around the globe in true southern style. An indisputable triple threat – as singer, songwriter, and guitar player - with her own unique blend of "country flavored southern fried blues”, her unique blend of roots music appeals to fans across genres. Her 2023 "Sticks & Strings" album was nominated for a Blues Music Award for Acoustic Album. It debuted at #10 on the Billboard Blues Chart, #11 on the Big Blues Chart, #16 on the Living Blues Radio Chart and at #22 on NACC. EG's trio features Gary Porter (drums/harmonica) and Ken Wynn (guitar/dobro). This is the sixth and final concert of the WCCA 6-Concert season.

Lovelight, a premier Grateful Dead Tribute band
gave a high energy electrifying performance on
Sept. 28th, to the enjoyment of the many dedicated
Deadheads in the audience. Several of whom danced the
night away. The New Jersey based six member group
features talented veteran musicians Special Guest
Joni Bottari Lead Guitar, Dana Carroll Bass Guitar,
Sean Kelly Keyboard/Vocals, Michael Slom Vocals,
Steve Sprague Jr, a Founding Member, Guitar/Vocals,
Todd Weiss on Drums. This was the first concert of the
WCCA 76th Season.
