Past 2024-2025 Concerts
Lovelight, a Premier Grateful Dead Tribute Band
gave a high energy electrifying performance on
Sept. 28th, to the enjoyment of the many dedicated
Deadheads in the audience. Several of whom danced the
night away. The New Jersey based six member group
featured talented veteran musicians Special Guest
Joni Bottari Lead Guitar, Dana Carroll Bass Guitar,
Sean Kelly Keyboard/Vocals, Michael Slom Vocals,
Steve Sprague Jr, a Founding Member, Guitar/Vocals,
Todd Weiss on Drums. This was the first concert of the
WCCA 76th Season.
Black Tie Groove gave a high-energy outstanding performance as the delighted audience time-traveled back to the days of Motown, Soul, Funk and more. The band received a well deserved standing ovation at the end of the evening. The New Jersey based group featured lead vocalists Erin Kukla and Eric Delaney; Keith Kukla on lead guitar; Tony Chibaro on drums; Joe Gorgolione on bass guitar; Joe Andreacchi on keyboards; and Ricky Paetzell on saxophone. This was the second concert of the WCCA 6-Concert 76th Season.
The Kitchen Dwellers concert was phenomenal. The Montana-based Quartet, Shawn Swain (Mandolin), Torrin Daniels (Banjo), Joe Funk (Upright Bass), and Max Davies (Acoustic Guitar) with their unique twist on folk inspired bluegrass spiked with phantasmic vision and rock energy, played to a sold out extremely enthusiastic audience on Nov.1, 2024. This show was an extra concert and not part of WCCA's 76th Season.
Award-winning brothers, Eric and Leigh Gibson performed to an appreciative sold out crowd on Saturday Nov.16th. Both brothers are singer-song writers. Eric was on banjo and Leigh on guitar and mandolin with Eric Barber on bass. Kelley Gibson, Eric's son, also joined them on stage. It truly was a night of the finest Bluegrass.This was the third concert of the WCCA 6-Concert Season
The Pennsylvania based trio, composed of Rose Baldino, Brian Buchanan, and Caroline Browning brought their unique brand of upcycled Celtic Folk music and Vintage Vibes to Wellsboro on Feb.15th. House of Hamill, performed to a very appreciative audience who honored their performance with a standing ovation. It was a fantastic night of mesmerizing harmonies and great music. This was the fourth concert of the WCCA 6-Concert Season.
The ‘Gaelic Supergroup’ Dàimh from Scotland, gave an outstanding performance on March 15th. Playing to a packed house they lived up to their title of a of supergroup performing thrilling jigs and reels and poignant ballads. The band featured Angus Mackenzie (Highland Pipes/Border Pipes/Whistles), Gabe McVarish (Fiddle), Ellen MacDonald (Gaelic Songs), Murdo Cameron (Mandola/Mandolin), and Rose Martin (Guitar). This is the fifth concert in the WCCA 6-Concert Season.
The EG Kight Trio gave an exhilarating performance featuring EG's unique blend of roots music to an appreciative crowd on April 5th. EG's rich vocals, and captivating guitar style thoroughly entertained the audience in true Southern style Blues. On stage with EG's trio were Gary Porter (drums/harmonica) and Ken Wynn (guitar/dobro).This was the final concert of the WCCA 77th Season.
